Posts vs Reels

Carousel posts
Posts with a single video work best. In a carousel with several photos and videos, DownloadReel may not find the video, so open that slide's post on its own if you can. Photo-only posts are not supported, because there is no video to download.
Quality
Older Instagram videos are often 640p, newer posts and Reels usually 720p. DownloadReel gives you the highest version available as an H.264 MP4.
